Since I am a French Major I am always curious about how many people are actually bilingual or trilingual or how-ever-many-linguals they wanna be.

I'm getting pretty good at french.. I def can't speak fluently.. even after 6 years of studying... but I'm getting there.

J'adore le francais. C'est pourquoi je l'etudie a l'universite. J'espere que je peux aller au France quelque jour. (it makes me feel special to speak french and not use a translator, even though that is one of the most basic sentences ever)

Anyways.... discusssssss.

I studied Spanish through high school; I can still speak a little bit, although I'm not always confident in my ability to speak it ;)

Also, does Pig Latin count as a language?

I think that knowing a second language is good for building character and even better for helping people keep an open mind about other cultures. It also helps people have a better understanding of their own language.

-Did you ever wanna take any other French courses?

Yes. I think it does. Haha. I used to speak that when I was younger to play games. Lol.

I forgot to put in my other post that I want to learn Japanese and German.

Sure I wanted to take more courses and learn the language but that would require dedication. Something I don't use in school

I speak/write English fluently. I understand Hindi/Urdu very slight difference bweteen the two. I speak Urdu. Can't read or write either one. Then I can read Arabic. Can spell words in Arabic but not so well at all.

Oh and if you count Spanish I took since 7th grade. I stopped in 11th grade. So very little Spanish but pretty much jack.

Ehh, they sound completely different. Their words may be spelled similar and they may have similar structure but they sound completely different.

Have had french shoved down my throat for a decade so I'm somewhat good at it. I however hate it and automatically dislike any french people over the age of 30 though. And I am moving away from this province soon. Gratz stupid draconian french parties.

French people over 30 are like 99% racist towards english people and half are xenophobic too. I'm sure all most people of older generations in different areas of the world are more racist/homophobic than their children?
All the ones over 30 have been massive douches. 90% of the ones under 30 have been nice people. Hatreds dieing out thankfully
