Yea Noit I know..One of my friends before he came here had to take a 2 hour rideall the way around just to pass the checkpoints just to go to the university..Yet he lived only 30 minutes away or so...
Its just hard because if you say anything bad about Israel that they will call you anti-semtic and cite the Holocaust..Yet that has nothing to do with anything anymore..Yes it should be remembered but not brought up for justification of the cruel and unusual punishment of the Palestinian people.
And when others may cite that Israel has a right to their homeland and that they are treating the citizens right..just remember..

*Israel gives 85% of water resources in Palestine to Israelis and the remaining 15% is divided among all Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza, even though the Palestinian population is much larger…

I don't know what they have on the US to make them do that. People say it's guilt from all the oppression the Jews received but seriously I doubt that's it. Israel is not Jewish they are zionist. Jews are great people. Just this zionist ideology is really like... You don't have to be Jewish to be zionist.

Turkey vs. Israel would be badass and a fair war (not including allies and such). Their military strengths are relatively equal and both have roughly the same amount of nuclear warheads. DUN DUN DUN. US backs Israel but NATO would most likely back Turkey, but then again both are in NATO which would require one to leave or get kicked.

Thanks jake man for your support. I would actually prefer no fighting. If just the countries would cut off economic ties with them that would be enough. Sure they probably planned for it but it would do the job with patience and no blood shed.
It's strange how those whom have had injustice brought on them in the past become perpetrators of hate themselves. Israel has a huge tendency to overreact to things it seems, though I think the issue is just too messed up as a whole since the Israeli's aren't going to just pack up and move out because the Palestinians want them to.
Oh, and when they're complaining about rockets: These "rockets" that Gazans are firing into Israel are called Qassam rockets:
These homemade pieces of shit have killed 22 people in the last 10 years [1], but the rockets that the Israeli's fire in response usually kill hundreds at a time.
Thanks so much SL man for putting in such easy to understand. They are totally disproportionate. With all the Israeli technology I'm sure they can knock out a crap missile like that before it hits. I'm like 99% sure. What do you guys think? They boast about have the best intel and weapons in the world.
Does anyone have any good links for more info on this? I mean something that at least *sounds* impartial? I'm either finding articles that are completely glorifying Israeli action, or completely condemning it, but very few that sounds like it's written without a heavy bias.
Well what you have to do is read all the sources because all of them have bias. Some are pro Paelstine some are pro Israel. When you do read them all, and just use some common sense you can really see the bullcrap from one to the other.
The BBC is usually a decent source with not as much bias as a lot of other places since they have to be objective.
BBC was very fair. They made the flotilla story top news. In the US it was never a major headline, at least from what I saw. Thanks so much waster man for your words there. They are totally unjust.
Again I can't thank you guys enough for supporting helpless people. It is so kind of all of you. Your words mean so much. It's real good to see that a sense of justice is out there, I just wish it could also be there in the people who have power.
