I really wonder how the middle east would have turned out if the mongols never reached the middle east...

I bet those countries would be economically on par with western countries. Which then brings up the question of religious tollerance being on par with them as well. Which might have resulted in better jewish-muslim relations and maybe a peaceful resolution

hmmm

That is horrible. The taxes I pay go to support this. You're totally right warrior the US needs to stop this. No way would the US stand for the Native Americans taking back their land. No way would the US stand for Mexico to take back a square foot of California. They actually try to keep the Mexicans out with a wall, that's horrible, no doubt inspired by Israels wall made to keep the Palestinians locked in Gaza. Egypt helped with this wall <_< Which shows how corrupt the government in Egypt is.

Signed and I need not say more because it makes me sick. Thank for posting the petion

Regardless how it turned out these faiths have always been radical and would still find other ways to fight today. Not too mention they would all fight for holy land Jerusalem. There is no doubt about religious tolerance delaying growth but that is something for their people to learn and one day hopefully grasp.

    LOL @ entire topic

BBC was very fair. They made the flotilla story top news. In the US it was never a major headline, at least from what I saw. Thanks so much waster man for your words there. They are totally unjust.

    LOL.
    comedy.
(inside joke for anyone who looked at a newspaper or TV in America)

This was all a smear campaign targeting israel. The commandos boarded 5 other ships before this one with no violence. They got exactly what they wanted. sympathy for their cause and to make Israel out to be the bad guys

Um sorry if you haven't noticed, internet petitions do nothing most of the time.

You're right doctor, it's rare it does anything. I have only seen it do something to bring back 1 canceled TV show. Probably not so much for for political affairs. It's just nice to see people supporting it. Like I got to see people I'm close to supporting it, made me feel good. So it's good in that way.

Sorry you feel that way sonic. Please keep the debate out of this topic. Especially citing propaganda (ie: selected clips Israel put together and released).

Fuck both sides. I'm not spending any money on foreign aid and neither should my country. In the middle of a recession yet we can afford to send millions half way across the world.

Let me elaborate here, for those who wouldn't watch this otherwise:

Colbert has a fight with himself over who is right.

Then Michael Oren, the ambassador for Israel comes in for an interview.

Does anyone else find it amusing that Michael Oren calls for segregation at the end of that clip?

Haha nice you noticed that puppet. I'm not a fan of Oren.

Colbert has a fight with himself over who is right.

Then Michael Oren, the ambassador for Israel comes in for an interview.

    Lol yeah that's funny too.
