Scheduled Service Disruption for Sunday, June 13th

NOTICE: While we finalize the move of some our services to a second server, there will be some disruption of these services:

The Items Database frontend will work intermittently tomorrow as we move the database to our secondary server. Later on in the day, an update will be posted up for Abrosia, Neon AP, and any other programs that use the database. We will allow backwards compatibility with previous versions of these programs for up to 7 days from now (to consider the copies running), when we will then proceed to pull the plug on any older versions running. :p So make sure to upgrade in a timely manner when the notice is posted up. :p

This is in response to the downtime issue that we had last week with the server over-usage.
The new database API is also equipped with a process monitor that will curb any excessive loads experienced by the server automatically.

How long will this disruption last? Should I keep Abrosia open for days?

I'm assuming from that line that Abrosia should keep running fine as long as it already has lists downloaded.

Looks like we might be pushing this to tomorrow. :/

And also, the programs will be fine to run for a couple of days.

A couple of days after getting the computer back I re-installed some programs. Not sure if I have the new Abrosia or not is there a way I can tell which version I have?
Also is this one of those where I can click "download" and it'll just upgrade it or do I need to uninstall the old one first? (assuming I have the old one)

The latest version is -always- in the download section. and if you run the program (Especially Abrosia) it alerts you of updates available.

I think you misunderstood part of my question. What I meant was, in order to update abrosia should I first uninstall it or will I just be able to click to download it without uninstalling the one I currently have. As for my other question is there a way to tell if I have 1.0.3 or if I have 1.3.8?

You're better off un-installing first and then installing the new one just to make sure it does overwrite it properly if you're having any problems. As for the version it should say in the title window of the program something like "Abrosia - Version 1.1.4 [VIP+]".

Shop pricing doesnt use the Database.

And Abrosia is using the profits from the database right now, but it will change soon.

Ok, for the record: Abrosia is using the NEW database. Yes, the one you cannot see right now that is on another server.

    Hopefully that clears things up.

Ask Hydro, he is in charge of that. I have no idea whatsoever. :p This news post was dependent on him completing it when he said he would. :p

I had abrosia on for the last twelve hours and it didn't even see an item to restock, but when I went to manually restock I saw several. Problems with the database?

I have had it running all night and it works fine.
