It's always been a big part of my life, mostly traditional art though. I've done a few digital projects, started out with MSpaint like 12 years ago and i've moved my way up to Photoshop. I really want to get a tablet before I do anything really serious though, any suggestions? I've been taking art classes ever since they were available to me, and i'm pretty excited that next year (my senior year) i can do an independant study since i've already gone through all the drawing/painting classes. In my high school, one of the options for an advanced diploma is a) taking three years of one language, or b)taking every art class they have. Of course i chose the latter, as suck at languages and yea. Anyways, i've taken ceramics, printmaking, jewlery, video production, sculpture, and all that's left is photography i think. I really want to go to school for this when i'm out of high school, but I haven't really researched any schools. Again, any suggestions?

I have a realistic style but at the same time it's kind of cartoonish. Example:
Spoiler

^although this was meant to be a bit cartoonish, but it's the only example i have that's already uploaded.

anyways, (i'm starting to ramble) if you like to draw or if you appreciate art even in the slightest, post! (ie: favorite artist/style of art/medium, whatever) and if you have any art work you'd like to share, by all means show it off if it's not too much trouble! :D

I should actually do this, since i have like no experience with muscles at all. Which is odd >_> You would think i would at least have done some body studies with all the art classes i've taken, but nope. I'll get on it as soon as I stop being lazy ;)

Your drawing is kind of creeping me out. But in a good way. I kinda wish I could see more of your work.

My favorite style artwork is German Expressionism. Because it's cool. I don't know what's a good school for the arts. I took a drawing class in college and hated everyone I met there.

I draw. I can draw on traditional medium, but it never comes out the way I see it in my head, so I use the "point to point" tool on my computer and things come out more like how I imagine. I'd describe my artwork as cartoony and my family tells me I'm demented. I'm not ashamed to admit I drew Harry Potter fanart for a few years...

    Spoiler

The last Potter book pissed me off, I ragequit the internet. Once the anger subsided, I started playing neopets again and I've recently gotten back into drawing, which I credit fully to jcrgirl because she inspired me and I'm being sincere. :)

I'd rather not talk about it, actually.

Even *I* think that Obama on a Unicorn is crazy. LOL @ Noit requesting drawings of male nudity.

Stick figure drawings take talent. It's harder to convey emotion with stick figures.

you shoulda seen my art teachers face when she realized i was checkin out naked obama on a unicorn. if you google it, there's a TON more. it's crazy.

anyways, i just dug up this really old MSpaint ixi day submission. The whole thing was done with a mouse, i tried really hard to make the lines amazing. This was before I discovered the line tool in paint, and also before I found out what tablets were and that people used them to create perfect lines ._.' anyways, i think it's pretty good for my art skill at the time...this was like, when i was in 6th or 7th grade. About 5-6 years ago o__o

Well like I said earlier, this was before I knew tablets existed lol
once i found out about them i slowed down with digital art quite a bit, i don't think i'll ever get back into it unless i get a tablet
it's such a pain in the ass to draw with a mouse, since it's so hard to keep it steady and get a clean line.

That's why I use the "Point to Point" line tool in Paint Shop Pro. It's tedious, and takes forever, but it gives me the clean lines I want. I've pretty much become accustomed to click click clicking for hours on end. :p I find it's a great alternative for people who can't draw freehand lines with a mouse.

Very pretty, Xwee. I love fairies and fantasy stuff :) The grass reminds me of fractal art too, which I absolutely adore.
