Sounds totally like a moneysink. Is this the best TNT could do?

As if the truly rich will empty out their accounts for this fad. The truly rich have way more than 2.5m. 2.5m is probably a day's or less work for them. People will only give what they can afford, unless they're really stupid.

Renovate parts of the site that really don't need fixing, while leaving other parts of the site (like the battledome) to become more decrepid?

what TNT needs to do is have a constant money sink, like some sort of upkeep for bank accounts that is dependent on the amount of money in the account. this way money will continually be flushed out of the system and we won't have to waste time with dumb things like this

They have a few...the lever is one of them. And when the Tombola guy demands donations, that's a total money-sink. But the rate of inflation is definately not keeping pace with the rate of money sinks they develop. TNT obviously underestmated the effect of retired items on the market, and just how much market forces would dominate their site.

What they are doing is just creating an even larger gap between the poor and the ULTRARICH.... If they want deflation they would bring back all retired items and release more shit at the cove. The BDCers who abused the Cove glitch and ended up with a couple of GoWs are definitely not going to be affected by this.... Ultrarich will remain ultrarich by golly :|

Then again, there are ALWAYS ulrarich people around... it's just that the newer players can't afford shit by just playing games and not knowing how to restock... (or cheat xP)
I think every other person I've run into actually cheats in /some/ form. There is no way people are so successful on their own :p

Yeah seriously. If you watch the New Features section all they've been doing is "X shopkeeper now has a new look!"
PFFFT they haven't touched the auctions/tp/bd for nearly 8 years now

Ehrmmm over 8 years... :shifty: or at least for the most part they look the exact same from what I recall but I was in my teens i think, back then I was very young rocking a :pirate1: hat

ya but they need a sink that's relative to the amount of money people have... the lever's 100np is a crapload of money for a 2 day account, while it's literally nothing for someone with over 100mil...

For the record, these items *will* increase in price. Guaranteed...assuming they don't give them out somewhere else.

I got a Faerie Mazzew and hope to get a few more on the TP for cheap, flip them in a few years for lots more. Look at the Snowbunny.

This week's wheel is the Wheel of Mediocrity. The base prizes are the same but according to jellyneo, there are 2 new prizes which are unknown for now.

Kind of disappointed that we will have to wait until the end of the month until any of the prize items retire :(

Those bastards raised the price of the wheel! So they ask for donations, make the animation more clunky and increase the price by 350np. I think this one is just hitting the newer players.

I will say that it looks better, but I think TNT could be using this time to improve more things.

Some people got the first "unknown" prize(the book) randomly while donating to the Wheel of Excitement so I guess it must be random too, dunno about the other one(it's a BG i tink, only looked once).

I don't really like the new wheels, especially Knowledge, it lags my browser to shittttt, I have to wait til it stop spins then click like 3-4 times to close the tab before I can do anything else. Excitement is so bad tho D:

well they DID raise the max prize to 20k so it seems reasonable that they changed the price a bit... regardless i still think this whole thing is ridiculous and it's not gonna do anything for the economy

Mmmm no I don't think it will go that high :(
Snowbunnies give avatars that's why they are so expensive and they are retired. Whereas the Faerie Mazzew can be painted and the number gotten out there for 200k.... the most it goes up to should be 300k or somewhere there :(
