I'm planning on opening up a website dedicated to my researches on Nikola Tesla and really just turn-of-the-century electrical sciences in general. The only problem is I'm low on money and can't really get working until after school which is when I wanted to set this all up. So instead of asking for money I'm asking for a vote. I don't mean to be a noob but I really need to put all the required material so that it's all not lost (mainly talking about the hard to find documents I'm planning on archiving).

I tried to vote for you, but both times it froze up and insisted I hadn't entered my name and agreed to the T&C - which I had.

Good luck anyway, Nikola Tesla is awesome!

Very true! Might I ask what kind of research you're doing?

I plan to go back and analyse his claims which include wireless electricity and 'free energy' with a completely open mind. The Tesla coils you see on youtube were not the ones he planned to use for wireless energy transfer. Tesla stated that his radio's are non-electromagnetic and disagreed with the hertzian wave theory. What I believe he was doing is similar to electromagnetic waves however they propagate longitudinally however they rely on changing potential rather than changing 'currents'. A good name for them would be longitudinal electrostatic waves. I have found patents for submarine communication systems based on this so it adds a little backing, however I can't be sure because patent doesn't necessarily mean working device but it supports my theory ;) This is why I need money. Not only to start the site but to buy materials needed to make these devices to test.

Oh, wow. I really, really hope you can raise the funds somehow. I'll try vote again in a bit and badger my friends to vote, too.

Thanks for all the support! It's good to see the Tesla legacy lives on, even if it's in profound videos that make us lol. I personally didn't see that video until the other day, coincidently his 154th birthday.

Casilla - Did you watch the video? :p

if you want a cheap hosting that's actually really good, i recommend one.com (if i may say this on this board)
it costs only 1.25 per month for 3GB with unlimited traffic and php and whatsnot-support
i use it for several sites and never had any complaints
(if this could be useful to you)

Thanks! I'll be looking for hosting in November. Is there a referral link I could use if I decide on that one?
