First off you want to be using Mozilla Firefox, which can be found here:

http://www.mozilla.c...x/personal.html

Once you have downloaded and installed Firefox, you will next want to download the add-on Greasemonkey, which can be found here:

https://addons.mozil...refox/addon/748

Once you have installed this, you will need to restart your browser.

Proceed to install the following Autohaggle script, simply click this link in Firefox
and you will be prompted to install the script:

http://playboxhead.g...ohaggle.user.js

After you have completed installing this, you will need to install the add-on named AdBlock, which can be found here:

https://addons.mozil...efox/addon/1865

Next is a fancy new script, which works in conjunction with AdBlock, and what it does is when you visit a shop, it will allow you to input an item list, and it will block all images other than the images specified in your item list! This is a much easier and time efficient method than the previously suggested methods on this forum, all of which require you to manually block each item you do not wish to see, basically it reverses the process for neopets item images :)

So anyway, go ahead and install that script, found here:

http://userscripts.o...ipts/show/66945

YOU'RE READY TO ROLL!

All you need to do now is simply go to your desired shop, Input your AB List into Smart Block window, tick the "Use the Smart Block Feature" box, Save Settings, and start refreshing! When you find an item on your list, it will show on its own in the shop, with no clutter, and you simply need to proceed to the haggle page, then click the pet image (as the haggle will be filled in already for you!)

ENJOY!

You could also swap that auto-haggle script for one which clicks the captcha too.

Yeah, but I tried that and it seemed a fair bit slower than actually clicking it myself so I decided to leave it like that

That's because most of the autohaggle scripts use an old piece of code to click the captcha which was leaked from here. There are ways to speed it up. :p

as safe as abrosia imo :)
either way, you prob wont do it for too long so maybe even safer
it just 'helps' you a little bit more, but they can detect whether you did it manually or not

Well, duh. But the freeze rate on score sending is ridiculous. Abrosia is a lot harder to detect.

I'm also bumping this thread because this is really helpful, I'm trying to wean off of Abrosia and start restocking legit but I'm not very good at identifying profitable items.

reloadevery is also an excellent addon for firefox if you want to go semi-legit. Is very nice for igloo garage sale as well. Can set custom reload times. Only downside is it doesn't give you a range of times but in 4 months I never had any problems even with static reload times...latency probably makes it slightly more or less than what you enter anyway.

Very nice guide.

To add just a little.

If you restock by hand and use adblock you want to add b.scorecardresearch.com to the blocked items. Its a statistic gathering website that is used by tons of major sites and can cause huge lag spikes, the difference between getting that ub or not. Its generally the last part of a neopets page to load. If you notice your browser hanging, odds are that is what you will see loading in the loading bar.

Thanks for this! I'm too scared/retarded to use AB yet so this is a pretty awesome alternative.

I think AB is pretty safe as long as you don't do impossible times and don't run it only for a few horus a day
