Americans have been building "Ground Zeros" near Iraqi mosques since Mar 2003.
We're talking about human beings here. Not Iraqis.

What disappoints me though is 50 frikkin million dollars on a mosque????!??!!? Im sure there's a rule against extravagance.
The proposed budget includes the creation of a swimming pool, a theater, a gym, amongst other things because it is being built as a cultural center, which will also include a room for prayers making it a mosque as well. I can't believe the amount of coverage this place is getting. There is already a mosque 4 blocks down from WTC and another a little further than that. And Park51 has been around for a while and many Muslims used to pray in the decrepit rooms, but it needs to be rebuilt cause its falling apart, which required them to get a permit, thereby bringing this whole situation into the media.

Some Americans are still deeply, personally hurt from that day, and I can understand the anger. The race/religion will always be associated with the attack. Imagine if you were robbed and raped by a black guy with a gold tooth. For the rest of your life you will always have this instinctual hatred or fear of black guys with a gold tooth. That's just how it is.
Having said that, I personally believe it is their American right to build their center.
I couldn't have said it better.
Ignorant people just fee like all Muslims are radicals and want all Americans dead.
I won't get into the debate about Christianity vs Islam, but I will just say this is why people should be debating it:
Ground Zero Mosque Developers Refuse to Rule Out Using Funds From Iran and Ahmadinejad
Thursday, 19 Aug 2010 10:18 AM By: Jim Meyers
The developers of the planned mosque near New York’s ground zero on Wednesday refused to rule out using funds from Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s Iran to build the $100 million project.
Where is this $100 million funding coming from, when they showed (I think) as little as $20,000 in the previous years?

If they are getting the money to build it from terrorists or other groups that hate Americans, then I don't see a problem in people being mad and wanting to protest it.

Dang no way. Was that proof published? I never actually believed they had the resources to pull something off like that. Hitting a building with a plane I would think would definitely take computer precision.
Dang that's weird. What would they do after they got bin laden though? Im sure the hate people feel towards the US wouldn't go down. I also think that it wouldn't make the anti-muslim people any friendlier.
I don't know much about planes, but flying a plane into a building shouldn't be difficult, given that the terrorists had training on how to pilot planes.

According to you, the more bleached your skin, the more human you are. Too bad most the world disagrees. Be grateful you don't live in my vicinity, you'd be dead by now.
The only good racist is an in-the-closet racist. Anybody else deserves to get their faces smashed back into hiding.
Good thing I'm neither Arabic or American. Enjoy you halal meat.
