His job of shooting the bag right? (which i also think was much) I really hope you don't mean his job of shooting the girl.
Israel calls anyone against them a terrorist. Do you actually believe a 13 year old girl is a terrorist?

Alright, shooting the bag was too much, but given the scenario where anything and everything can be suspected of a threat--hell I'd lose it and shoot the bag as well out of fear (now mind you I'm still saying that the part where they killed the girl is in no way justified).

And to heck how would I know if the kid's a terrorist or not. Despite of how young the kid was, all I'm saying is that there's still a possibility to develop some suspicion.

I think there is a lot of wrong done on both sides, but this is 100% unnecessary stuff. That soldier should be receiving the very worst punishment possible.

They should be put in some kind of chamber and gassed, I'm surprised nobody else has thought of doing that before...

... the part where he emptied a goddamn clip on the dead kid was clearly done with intent and therefore should've been used against him to fire his ass.

This. Even if for whatever bullshit reason they pull out of their asses they decide he was justified in killing the girl, there is absolutely no reason at all for the other rounds. Such barbaric behavior.

A compulsory army. When you have the entire 18-20 year old age group from your country on military duty, you're bound to get a few bad eggs. Or a couple village idiots.

You want the truth? She shouldn't have been alone. She also should have known where to walk. Soldiers should exercise caution, but at the same time they've a job to do. Their government found them morally justified on the issue. Who are we to gainsay them ;)

Why does it matter? She was already dead anyway. Such respect for the dead is a byproduct of our own fears of mortality.

But I tend to agree with you :p

    <_<
A grown person wouldn't know Israel invisible borders. She was a 13 year old walking her way back from school. Ill let toxic explain to you how you have dehumanized the Palestinans so much so that when you hear of a 13 year old Palestinian girl you don't think dolls but bombs strapped to her. Falling for the media hype (hyping few incidents like crazy i might add) in order to make the US government look justified in support of Israel.

Their government found them morally justified on the issue. Who are we to gainsay them ;)

Wow lol red that's not you on that end I know it isn't lol. You would never say something that ridiculous. Especially when you know that government is so unjust.

    Righty then.
I also had the same opinion as you, About the possibility of suspicion.
But after reading the article and looking into it there are 2 main things that stand out which i believe to show a cold blooded killer.

"A girl about 10, she's behind the embankment, scared to death."
This has been quoted in the article, Any suspicion of her being a threat should have been dropped when she ran away. She was shot while hiding, Now to me, Thats not right in any sence.

"i also confirmed the kill. Over."
This also rings alarm bells when i read it, They talk about her like she is some sort of wild animal, Not a human being.

Thanks toxic. That's a key point they are human beings. You guys make it sound like anyone and everyone can be armed. The % there with any attack power is really low i don't know for sure if someone can look it up that would be nice. I wouldn't be surprised to see a super small number. Unless they count kitchen utensils as weapons for the Palestinians which they probably do to jack up that number.

Honestly, I think that the man who shot her is mentally insane and racist. Only due to this statement.

"Capt R claimed that the soldiers under his command were out to get him because they are Jewish and he is Druze."

I think, and correct me if I'm wrong, that this is remanisant of Hitler. Who once denied entry into an art school became obsessed with the fact that it was by a jew and that they were out to get him.

I feel incredibly bad for this little girl. I remember when I was little just exploring around my house just for shits and giggles. You know? Just kind of to see what was out there. I'm sure she wasn't aware she had stumbled onto hostile land. I hope she rests in peace.

Alright, we're all clear on the fact that the captain is nuts and him "confirming the kill" with a magazine clip to be wrong.

I don't see anywhere in the article or the transmission that has him giving the order to kill her. Someone from another post killed her. It was probably their standard protocol to kill trespassers even if it was just a child. Soldiers aren't really trained to think, they're just there to flow orders of their superiors or get punished. I don't hold the subordinates responsible, I would rather put the blame on the higher powers that influence things.

Well I'd just argue that the possibility of the child having a bomb in the bag not to be negative 2 million. Anything can happen including a terrorist group adopting kids from an orphanage and raising them to be martyrs. Kids are also being trafficked all the time. The world isn't perfect, and so on and so forth.

Me and Noit have already discussed this, And yeah this does happen to children. But the girl ran away, If she was there to do harm she wouldnt have, If anything she would have ran towards them not to hide. They had no reason to shoot her while she was hiding because she was in no way a threat, They would have been no harm in them giving her a warning, They didnt need to shoot. Regardless of what they are told, Any normal human being would not shoot an innocent child.

I'm not entirely sure they influenced him to shoot her with 17 bullets after one had already penetrated through her skull.

Did you know that Israel has the highest number of doctors per capita?
Even if this girl made it out alive, how many of them do you think would want to help her?

This fued between Palestine and Israel sickens me.

For that I was actually just referring to whoever shot her first. The captain guy who put in an additional 16-17 bullets, I'm pretty sure we can agree has mental issues influenced by...who knows what.

Yeah, I saw it on cash cab last year.

The question was, "Which country has the highest number of doctors per capita?"
And the guy answered, "The country with the most Jews is Israel, so I'm going to say Israel"

    Or something along those lines

I just googled it to check my facts and turns out Israel is second, the highest is the United Arab Emirates.

The first quote can be hearsay. Despite that I am quite convinced that the douchebag just wanted to pull the trigger on the girl, I'm just not going to buy that portion that easily.

The latter though I'll admit that they had sufficient information to confirm that the kid was harmless.

As much as I do concur to the fact that the idiot deserves to be fired, I just couldn't help to question some details shared in the article. A "one-sided based" opinion just never works out for me, so my bad if I'm just starting to sound like an asshole here.
