Hey guys,

With the state of faerieland, I'm hoping there will be a war both for fun and profit; but I've never monitored price inflation during previous wars..

Was wondering, if there is a war, will things inflate significantly? If so, what would you recommend investing in? Y-blasters and armoured neggs?

Would there be much risk to this? I see armoured neggs flopping *as soon* as the neggery is reopened..

The chance that there will be a war is very little. Though if there was a war prices would barely inflate as it seems this plot is gonna be more about working on puzzles together with other neopet users.

i think everyone has selective hearing on the war thing, because everyone WANTS a war - therefore, if they ignore everyone who says there won't be a war, they can still hope.

Forgive me if this question seems ignorant, but why would I take Georgina's opinion over anyone else's? Im not trying to be rude. I'm just wondering if she has some sort of inside information, or some kind of connections within TNT.

It isn't an opinion. If you look at the other threads (at this point theres like 1000 or more like 3-4), multiple people have mentioned that Neopets (TNT) has come out with an editorial on the subject of wars. They said that wars were giving the wrong impression on the younger players especially in this current state of event (or the previous one - Iraq/Afghanistan/etc).

I guess it was a bit presumptuous to say that nobody read anything because I guess if you only read this thread - you wouldn't figure it out. However, I still think that 99.99% of the people that post don't actually read. As evident in the other plot threads. They all go a little like this:

Poster 1: OMG, FAERIE STONE!

Poster 2: IT BETTER BE FUN.

Poster 3: WAR

Poster 4: TNT SAID THERE WILL BE NO WAR

Poster 5: WAR

Poster 6: TNT SAID THERE WILL BE NO MORE WARS!!!

That's funny. Right after the Enron collapse in 2001 they copied the stock market by crashing a few stocks. Sidenote: also consider that no one here has managed to produce the original editorial that stated no more wars. I'm not saying there will be a war, just that kids have been passing this editorial story around the NeoBeards for years.

Unless you're citing a source in which you need a period, the period goes after the parentheses. Unless a full sentence is in the parentheses, but it still wouldn't go at the end)

Looks like another stupid fucking puzzle plot to waste everybody's time for 2 months. Also, another NC sink and another slap in the face to people who don't want to cough up $50 to TNT every once in a while just so they can get these perks until they get inevitably frozen. NP is doing great. Keep up the good work.

Hey as long as they make money, I don't think they care. The bd doesn't really make them money anyway, they don't sell bd items in the nc mall...thankfully.

I remember in one of those long ago ages editorial that they weren't going to focus on wars because it wasn't really kid friendly.
