Okay, Mister Metallica, thanks for the lecture.

I download music all the time, but I also buy what I like.
If music was reasonably priced, I would have no problem, but the industry has gone so far downhill that it's close to criminal how much they charge. I work for close to minimum wage, I can't afford to buy every album that has maybe 15 songs on it, for anywhere from $10 to over $20. A few bands I listen to, they're not about the money, and they sell their albums online for "pay-what-you-want" prices. I buy those, because that's fair. Throw a few dollars their way, they make plenty of money. There's no reason why music should be the price it's at right now, we're emptying our wallets to already very rich people.
I could go all day ranting about the crimes of the music industry these days, but I'll hold my tongue.
Only $20? I have to pay much more just to get the hard copies of the albums I like because I have to import them from Asia, and to get something like a concert costs me
about $100, but hey, I'll give my money away for something I actually want.
