In my apartment me and my room-mate have two laptops and a desktop. We have one internet connection which is provided by the building. All are IPS are exactly the same except for the last three digits. I'm not sure if anyone else has it like that though.
That's the local network IP, not the IP which websites see when you visit them.

I honestly know next to nothing about proxies or IP addresses so maybe someone can answer this: if I have two separate NP accounts open on two different computers, both in my home, can TNT tell and freeze me? Would both computers be using the same IP address? Thanks!
Both IP's would be the exact same. At best it would look as if there are two different people on two different computers restocking from your home. At worst, they'll suspect that you're using an AB'er and just ice you.
As mentioned many times before, I've been running many accounts simultaneously with the same IP address for around 2 months now, and I'm still just fine. If you want to cut-down on the risk, use a proxy for one of them.. however, you should continue to use that proxy for all activity on that account. It doesn't do much good running a proxy and then logging into the account from your original IP. They'll just see they're connected.
It's a hassle, but if you can manage keeping the accounts on seperate IP's 24/7 it reduces your risk dramatically.
