Long story short...
My sister just got a table on an anime event on my city, it's like our version of the animexpo, only more ghetto. She asked me to be with her at her table, selling illustrations and stuff, that means I need to work on new illustrations because I don't have anything to sell...

My problem is that I don't watch much anime... the last series I saw was "welcome to NHK" and that's not very sell-able (and I saw it last year)... I know naruto is quite popular with the people who assists to that kind of stuff, but I don't want to draw it

So... Recommend me some series that sell a lot/have cute and memorable characters/are classics that will always sell?

Or if you're not into that kind of stuff, games that can sell too... I already finished a zelda and a pokemon illustration to sell, and I was thinking about drawing some phoenix wright, but my sister insists that PW is a bizarre game that no one knows

Fairy Tail, Soul Eater, Cowboy Bebop, D. Gray Man, Kenichi: History's mightiest Disciple, One Piece(Really dislike this one), Bleach, Devil May Cry, and High School of The Dead. If you could after you're done you should post them on here so we could take a look at what you've done.

I was thinking that an open discussion should be better because I don't know almost any new anime... I only know panty and stocking because my friend made me addict to the transformation song, lol

And you can vote for more than one series... I want to know what's popular and cute and may work in my drawing style...

I would post some examples of my work but I've been featured in the art gallery and neopian times a couple of times, so I'm paranoid I may lose my account xD but I'll try to upload a pic of the finished stuff when I'm finished :3
Also, animals and girls are my strong points and mechas are my weakness, boys, backgrounds poses and everything else work fine, but don't make me proud... in case that makes you easier to recommend me stuff

The remake of FMA was the best ever. They actually ended the series very well unlike the original ending with the movie.

I could give you a list of anime I've watched and liked but too many choices will probably confuse you so here's few:

Your sister is crazy. I've never met anyone who hasn't heard of Phoenix Wright. Along with that, Soul Eater and Code Geass both have pretty fantastic cult followers. And are really awesome.

right now I'm in south america, but I lived in Canada and anime fans there were just the same as the ones I have here... only taller and paler

I didn't feel offended, I actually laughed a lot because of your post, I lived in Canada and I've visited the USA a couple of times and everytime I said I was from south america everyone was like "omg do you get used to our technology?" or "wow, and you look so civilized" or stuff like that... I know there are poor countries and everything, but (at least in my country) we're not so different from north americans... we do have more criminals and less fast food chains (I miss Wendy's), but it's not a big deal

This expo is also called animexpo (what a creative name, I know) and it has everything you can find in normal expo.. it's way smaller tho...

Devil May Cry was the most boring anime ever since Dante is OP. Also I can't understand why you would like fairy tail and not One Piece.

I can say that this is probably true regardless of where you go, well not so much on the One Piece even though I think it's the better of the three. The ones Powerrr mention are popular as well but definitely not as popular as Bleach/Naruto as those available in other languages and on cable(though why the f would you want to watch dubs is beyond me).

Some people prefer the dubs to the subs, and others just don't feel like multitasking with the subtitles as well.

Also, I just actually read Juupon's list, which included High School of the Dead, she must be a lesbian because there is no reason to watch that show except for the massive amount of Breasts, Panty shots, and all other amounts of fan service.

Actually I'm just into zombies. Me and my friends are always contemplating what we would do if he world came under a plague that turned people into zombies lol. I don't really know of any other anime with the same plot.

How can no one like One Piece..Its waaaaaaay better...100 times better than Bleach and Naruto combined. Kubo/Kishimoto destroyed their manga's...One Piece will be bigger than Dragonball/z. It's an adventure, and yea you have to get used to the drawing style in the beginning but it is truly an epic in manga..Berserk is a close 2nd =D
