I watched the first episode online because I wasn't home on Halloween night, but I don't think computer quality did it any justice. Stoked for the new episode.
If normal definition isn't enough for you, maybe you should upgrade to the 720p feeds :3

I'd recommend it, the first episode seemed pretty good to me and the effects are actually quite impressive for a TV show. I kind of got the feeling it'll be a combination of The Stand and 28 Days Later judging from the first episode.

Looks alot like 28 days from the start of it, however in 28 days they weren't zombies, they were people contaminated by pure RAGE.
Different virus, similar effects (and in The Walking Dead they actually seem to move quicker than say Romero's zombies, though not as quick as those in 28 Days Later obviously). I can understand why people describe 28 Days Later as a zombie film even though they're wrong.

I don't really watch movies in general though because I don't have the attention span for it, so who knows.

Can I say that is ridiculous, are not enough people already thousands of zombie movies? now comes with a series?
Have patience.
And do not come to criticize me for expressing my opinion, the forum is open to this

Let's say I was forced to watch the pilot episode, all because my husband was freaking out (and he knows that I do not like the genre ¬ ¬)

But this is not your ordinary zombie show. The first episode has pacing issues sure but the action picks up later on.

Norman Reedus was in tonights one which, to be honest, was my main interest in the whole show to begin with. I actually ended up liking the show though.
