Simple Abrosia Buy Time Clarification Please?

02 October 2013 - 08:47 PM

Greetings all, searched a few threads, lurked for quite some time, thought i would go ahead and ask the question;

I am aware that connection speed and location is probably the greatest factor contributing to buy times outside of your settings, I have been using the settings below for quite some time and i am averaging a fairly safe and reliable buy speed.

General Wait Delay - 6.7 and 10.7 seconds ( Assuming its RNG so it should be fairly safe ) - Please correct me if i am wrong.

MS Pre-Haggle Between 0.3 and 0.4

OCR Page Delay Between 0.2 and 0.3

And since i do not use the Attic my page delay is at 3.0 and 5.0

I check for an RS ban every 15 minutes, I purchase items not found in the database and i purchase unknown items first.

I am set to fingerings at 0.1%.

With these basic settings i am generally purchasing items at anywhere between 2,000-3,000 MS, I understand a lot of people are getting away with by times under 2 seconds, 1.6 - 1.5 - 2, I think this would be the ideal range as far as competition goes, I miss quite a few items at 2.4, Probably much more then i actually get, However i can not complain about the profit and i have been quite lucky restocking items worth over the 10,000,000 mark.

Now without appearing to be greedy i am all about efficiency, I am aware i can drop my MS pre haggle and OCR page delay as well i am thinking may adjust the wait delay from 6.7-10.7 to something like, 5-15, I have also found that i am less likely to get Restock banned if i am constantly moving through multiple shops every 60 seconds or so, hoping for a "walk in" restock, more so then sitting there refreshing on a single page, i usually get RS banned pretty quickly if i am targeting 1-2 shops.

Now into the question.

Does neopets record the MS pre haggle and the OCR page delay?, I have read quite a few posts by Administrators and Reputable posters alike that suggest they are running a 0.1 and 0.2 setup on these settings, If the overall buy time is the only recorded factor then essentially i should reduce these to as low as possible without dropping into a ridiculous by time to increase my efficiency correct?

Anyway i would appreciate any feed back, this is the current setup i am using and i have been running it for quite some time now without any blowback from TNT.
