I believe this game is totally random, as I used one of the lowest cheeses and got a trophy for the game, which I gladly display with all my artmoney-won trophies in the 11 month old account I still have yet to be frozen, lol. 
But anyways, it is under the random section, so I think type of cheese may only give you a little bit of advantage if you are buying the higher priced ones.

Got a score of 600 doing that once, that's about it though. Usually you only win useless meridell food, but I'm sure there is grander prizes for higher scores.
