Just thought I'd mention, contests and asking for donations for the purpose of giveaways for guild members are in fact against the rules and will get you frozen if you're obvious about it.
The guide it pretty good with some good tips, although there's a few contradictions in there, like saying 'Some people like: X, Y and Z. But others think they're lame'. It sorta defeats the purpose of saying something if it's there's half a chance people will hate it, and half a chance, they'll love it

To be honest i think its impossible to find a guild that everyone will enjoy but these tips will help you to get a good few members, good effort!
