QUOTE (Kitsune @ Sep 3 2008, 10:31 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
You seriously do not want to get into the habit of pointing out minor grammatical issues. It leads down nasty path and will really only ensure people ignore any valid points you may have raised.

I think I'm smarter than most in some areas, and acknowledge in many other areas, I am not.

General stupidity and lack of common sense will ensure I look down on someone. And I'd be quite happy if natural selection 'took care' of them.
But somewhat sadly, humans lookout for each other just a little too much.

Sorry, it was just intended as a joke.

However, the tendency to feel superior is a trait I deal with every day in my line of work, and noticing that you are from new zealand then you should appreciate some of the characters we have in Auckland.

So it was a kind of knee jerk reaction, no harm intended and I apologise to the thread writer if it offends

Wood floats and stone sinks, doesn't make it better as a building material, each individual has a skill or trait that makes him stand out from the rest. Obviously you like to challenge yourself and that is always a good thing. But your individual tastes are just that, your individual taste. Maybe your current circle do not seem as bright as you probably choose the topics of discussion and therefore indulging in your (not their) interests. Anyway, keep challenging yourself it always feels good to know a little bit more.

Oh and by the way, the grammatical error in your post doesn't resound of superiority. tongue.gif
