I also know a lot of our users get frozen for using our programs irresponsibly.

So is there a way to cheat responsibly, or do you mean within the parameters of not getting caught? If so, what are those parameters? Do you send scores of 18-0 in YYB or do you do a consistent 8-0. Is this why you don't get caught or do you use other methods? How can you assure the people that use your codes and purchase NP with real money that they are not putting their accounts in jeopardy?

May I ask you a few questions? Many of your users are cheaters and I would like to ask how many users you have approximately, how many of your users cheat regularly and how often you cheat as well. I'm using this to gauge the difference between legitimate and illegitimate players. Also, since cheating will end up decreasing a legitimate player's teams chances of winning and lowering their own chances of getting good prizes why would you cheat other than to benefit yourself. I'm not saying that you are bad or sinister since you are at least brave enough to reveal yourself and discuss despite the criticism you will likely receive. I admit that clraik (if that's how you spell it) is much worse, but you can not justify your actions or lower your crime by comparing yourself to another cheating group. This might not have been your intention but this what many people are assuming, and could you not, at the very least, decrease Codex's unjust actions as Neocodex is their sponsor? You may disagree with me or not answer and I will respect that since everyone has their own reasons but please answer my questions if you can.

I feel very, very bad for this topic. It's as if a criminal came to my community and said "Hello! I know me and my group break the laws and hinder the overall aspects of your lives, but hey! Let's put it aside and be friends while I tell you why I like being a criminal so much and keep on breaking the laws and hindering your community!"

I actually don't even understand WHY the mods and owner of the forum even LET this topic happen, as to me it's almost an incentive to cheat on Neopets.

Sorry if that's offensive, sorry if that's harrassment, but I just had to say it. There you go.

If you don't like the topic and feel bad for it, no one is really forcing you to be on it. Also, again, not every single person on codex cheats, you can't really call everyone from codex a cheater.
As for the last part, he's not actually telling anyone to go and cheat. He's not really explaining how to in anyway either. Sweeney is just simply trying to answer questions people may have.

First of all, I have to say - I freaking love your Kiki cosplay!! Now that's out of the way XP
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, Patricia was just sharing hers with how she feels about the matter. As for not explaining the cheating, he doesn't really have to do that, it's pretty self explanatory. And for those that didn't know there were illegitimate ways to play the Altador Cup/everything else, they now know there is and where to go to do it. Personally I feel this topic should be closed, it's not serving any purpose other than advertising cheating imo. There aren't really many questions that can be answered about 'rumors', because they require statistics and whatnot of which we don't have. People cheat, people disagree, that's about it.

Oh my god. Why are you guys comparing some time saving scripts on freaking Neopets of all sites to full on criminal activity. Okay "its more the basic idea behind this!" or whatever but goodness gracious me. He made this topic because all you see are people making stupid exaggerations of how the programs work on god knows how many sites, tell other people that their assumptions are the truth rather than looking into said programs for maybe ten minutes because "I don't want to associate myself with those filthy cheaters!", then they tell other users their assumptions and the misinformation continues to spread like that. I can't imagine the sort of secondhand embarrassment these guys must feel, I don't even cheat and I'm feeling it already.

Let's make some things clear. All they have are free, time saving and human-looking scripts and legitimate Neopets tools. That's it. If you sit back and look at it without your eyes covered in moralfog, the site is incredibly boring and time consuming. Despite this, and any other sort of in real life things being in the way, some people still want to play. The scripts aren't magic and catch every single expensive item it comes across instantly. That isn't how it works. There's a higher chance that some other player, legitimate or not, is going to get that junk item before you, unless your settings use unnatural speeds which will cause your account to get frozen. Does anyone want that? No. That's why you go with slowish and human-looking speeds. There's no way for TNT for tell if you're using a program or not because you're using speeds of that of a normal human. If you go on their forums and have a look the number 1 thing people complain about is the program missing items, or the program not detecting items at all. If you use the program all you're going to get is a big wall of red text saying "Missed x item", maybe it'll catch some item which will get you 5k profit. That isn't affecting the economy at all.

Because the programs are designed to keep your account safe by default (unless of course you use idiotic speeds), they aren't doing anything a human couldn't do. This applies to games as well. Do you guys think they're sending in 18-0 scores in YYB every 30 seconds or something? No! That's not how it works. It isn't safe for you to be running the program for 24 hours straight so obviously they're going to stop the program every once in a while. I can understand why some people would be buttflustered because although there are no differences with the end result, but because a program is doing it instead of a human... Why do you really care? They aren't affecting your personal experience with the site and how the game plays. They aren't physically preventing you from getting something legitimately. There have always been people using programs and they always will be. So why do you all suddenly care so much now? Besides, we have no way of telling if the Altador Cup winners are predetermined or exactly how much playing actually affects the score and who wins the next day.

Also I have to ask, why do you guys think its advertising? Plenty of people everywhere talk about Team Codex. Here, Neopets, Tumblr, other Neopets fanforums, etc. Neocodex has no need to advertise since they're well-known enough, even without gossip and whatnot happening. They've been around for 10+ years and still going strong and have a good number of users. Sweeney is literally just here to clear up any sort of questions you guys have. Though in my opinion its a bit of a waste of time since people have their heads too far up their butts to listen to anything but their own thoughts and thoughts from people who are like them, and refuse to think any different. They've already decided that no matter what they think and say is the truth because "they'll never lower themselves to the likes of cheaters!". Some of the people in this exact topic are a great example of this.

Also I've noticed people saying "why not work on other things instead of Neopets cheats!".... Who's to say they aren't? It's a bit ridiculous thinking that they only work on Neopets programs.
