I met my girlfriend on World of Warcraft, and we talked online for about 4-5 months before meeting. We're still together now and see each other very often, even though we live in adjacent states (we plan to move in together very soon). Online relationships can work but they can't stay permanently online.

I think Lil Wayne should be ranked up there with the greatest of all time. His past couple hip hop releases have not been disappointing at all. All the hipster hip hop fans hate Lil Wayne because of all the Lollipop shit he did for the girls while he was on codeine. Honestly, if you're a hip hop fan and you hate Lil Wayne I consider you a fucking hipster. Talib Kweli said in a video one time that he thinks Lil Wayne is one of the best rappers of all time and created some of the best songs. If you youtube "talib kweli lil wayne" it'll be the first result.

To the dude that said we all need to study hip hop more, that video you posted the dude said "rap stars sample beats." That beat he's using is an extremely popular dubstep song and I don't even think it fits well in a hip hop context. Bunch of backpacker shit.

There's a difference between killing people and writing songs about killing/raping/etc people.

That's very true. I guess that was a little off topic, but more or less pertaining to whether or not the artist's view have any effect on your music taste.

Another example would be Charles Manson. The man has murdered and sodomized kids and women. His body count is 7 or so, but makes amazing acoustic music. I've listened to and thoroughly enjoyed his music, but obviously would never even want to look in his general direction.

Kats, I'm having a hard time figuring out your actual opinion on the subject haha. I'm assuming you're not too fond of the song I posted, but I'm sure there's some music you listen to that may not be as outright offensive as Lil B but almost.

EDIT: Also, rap isn't the only genre that has had sexual lyrics to it. I know no one has said that specifically yet but so far that's all of the examples. Dubstep has it, Rock has it, Metal has it, etc.
