#1563394 Online Relationships

Posted by ArticTheTiger on 14 March 2012 - 04:46 AM

My current relationship started when I was 15, she was 14, I am now 20. I moved over to the UK from the Netherlands 1.5 years ago.

We coped 3.5 years online, this march (25th) we celebrate our 5th anniversary of being boy and grilfriend.

It's about tenacity and willpower if you ask me. Yes, you WILL want to meet to get to know the other person intimately, but don't rush to get there, enjoy every moment of chatting with them, and when you meet and take the relationship into the real life, it'll feel right.

Also, if anyone ever has questions on this subject or needs to rant about their situation, hit me up with a PM. I've been there.

Eh, actually, the more I think about this the worse this idea becomes.

Public polls about people in the group the poll is taken in always ends up in a popularity contest (the reason that SOTW is without names) or politics (LOL VOTE FOR MEH I VOTE FOR YOU).

I say, every member that is here for a month, and has 500+ posts get put in a "frequent poster" group, which is looked over daily by staff, and staff decide whether they contributed enough for a promotion to advanced member.

I agree, it should be a privilege, not a right.

right now i am just creating images for my wii game (for blind kids)
so i am creating the images/characters in illustrator because i like the cartoon look

do you use a tablet?
(sorry for all the questions )

That's alright lol, this one was pure mousework, it was basic shapes so that lends itself to a mouse nicely, I do have a tablet though. In a few months I will be buying a new one

what program did you use to make yours in Artic?

& congratulations on being picked by Mozilla
it is a pretty cute applet - nice looking and straight forward

Straight up photoshop, I had to do some detailwork, but most of it is quite straightforward.

#1407369 What's with the fraction on Abrosia?

Posted by ArticTheTiger on 10 February 2011 - 11:33 PM

Asking questions is not a bad thing but sitting back and waiting for answers to be spoonfed is a habit that needs to die. Why do we even have an official abrosia topic if every day we get the same questions that's already answered ten times over in that thread and nobody reads it?

Aye, when I first arrived at the coast of this forum (for abrosia) first thing I did was read the ENTIRE abrosia thread. So here I was, a 1 post noobie (introductions) giving 100 post members tips and help towards abrosia (a program with back then just a friggen start button and some settings)
