Definitely wouldn't pay, especially as they weren't upfront about any costs and it's part of a house that they would have been paying for regardless of whether or not you were invited in the first place!

I won a Bag of Peanuts from the Wishing Well just now, first time I've gotten something from there!

I'm currently engaged and have been with my fiance for 7 years, lived together for 6. We are getting married in June 2013, I'll be 27 by then and he'll be 28. Marriage isn't something that I've always desired, I was never one of those girls dreaming of her wedding day, but I'm looking forward to it. The planning is driving me absolutely crazy though!! Hoping it'll be a good day.
I don't think there is a "right" age, it really depends on the couple, their maturity levels and how strong their relationship is. It's sad to see people give up so quickly these days.
My parents have been married for 27 years, they married at 21 (just after I was born). Neither of their parents marriages survived and most of their siblings are divorced as well. I really look up to my parents and admire that they've been able to keep their marriage together, it is rare these days. The majority of my friends have divorced parents, and I even have a few divorced friends.
Gay marriage - I think they should have the same rights as heterosexuals. It doesn't need a different name - religion does not 'own' marriage and I couldn't care less if two people of the same sex wanted to get married.
We have a pretty strong relationship and I can see my marriage surviving "till death to us part" and I really hope it does! Living together has helped - it has allowed us to learn that we are compatible.

In Topic: What is the worst Christmas present you have ever received?

The worst present I received was probably Barbie sheets when I was 14 and was well and truly over playing with Barbie. My Uncle brought them for me and I had to get a photo taken with them to send back to him. In the grand scheme of things it's better than nothing at all but I was not impressed at the time!
In Topic: Your First Neopet's Account...

My first account was my full name. I was about 13-14 at the time and wasn't very savvy about the whole "don't use your real name online thing". I remember having a two fairy pets, one of them was a Grundo. I used to play JubJub Blackjack and thought it was the best way to make money. I went back and played it the other day and released how slow it is! I wanted a rainbow paint brush so, so bad and eventually got my hands on one (can't remember how as they were expensive for the money I had). I used to make fake accounts to up my referrals. I ended up getting frozen for scamming a person out of her Faerie Queen Doll. I wouldn't even try it now but I was young back then and it was easy... until I got frozen, of course.
