well could you explain to me how you get to (60+(5)(22-x))x?
From what I'm thinking income = # of passengers x price. Which would get me (22-x)(60+5x) wouldn't it? o.0
The x in your equation is "number of empty seats"
The x from the solution online is "number of passengers", so that's why your equations are different.
Basically what I'm saying is your equation and the equation from the solution are both correct.
