I love to write, roleplay, and watch anime. I run a guild called RPG Fantasy and Writers Kingdom in an account named Eua_masterunfathmabl, so you can contact me that way, too!

Moral Relativism
18 May 2005 - 12:47 PM
Moral relativism has no grounds. Is the holocaust a right thing or a wrong thing? Is freedom to vote by women before 1920, wrong or right? Was slavery wrong or right?
HERE are some of the flaws:
1.) Relativists can't accuse anyone of doing something wrong. Why?- because that would then be saying that they are right. If a moral relativist is right, then EVERYONE is right. This of course, is contradictory.
2.) Relativists can't complain about or solve evil (because evil has a standard) Relativists think the holocaust was wrong, thus making the ones who did the holocaust WRONG. If their opinions are attacked, they say they are RIGHT.
3.) Relativists can't put blame or praises. This would imply a standard of right and wrong, good or bad, would it not?
4.) Relativists can't make charges of fairness or justice. This too would imply right and wrong, good and bad.
5.) Relativists can't improve themselves because there is 'no' absolute standard.
6.) Relativists can't hold a meaningful, moral discussion since there is no standard in which to hold it up to
7.) Relativists can't demand tolerence (If they do, that's attempting to force their opinion of tolerence on you, which of course, isn't tolerence for YOUR opinion of intolerence, and if there is no right and wrong, then you being intollerent is just as right as one being tolerent.)
TRUTH. There IS truth.
Murder and stealing and lying: all cultures agree it is wrong. Funny... if there is no absolute Truth.
Absolute morals: truth and morals whether you like it or not

What is your favorite TV show?

I like Inuyasha and the original Star Trek.
Working
28 April 2005 - 07:57 PM
I'm currently babysitting. I babysit three times a week for a total of about 12 hours and make about $60. I also babysit everyother week for two ours one morning and make $15 and babysit here and there occasionally and make about $30 every time. (Though tomorrow I'm making about $60 for babysitting all day). I'm 15, so when I'm done with my 'Mother's Helper' job I'll do McDonald's if I'm still 15. (nod nod*)
The Pants Game
20 April 2005 - 04:45 PM
Ok, this is played by taking a saying from a movie and changing some of the words to pants instead. Example: From Pirates of the Carribean: "By the powers! You're right! Where be Jack's Pistol? Bring it forward!"
And you can change it to say: "By the Pants! You're right! Where be Jack's Pants? Bring them forward!"
(lol*)
