I know from experience, it really can't, I mean, unless there is some plan of someone moving close to the other person, it just gets wayy too hard to deal with. I mean, some people can do I am sure, but more power to them

If English were the official language of the united states, I would agree with you. But, it isn't. There is no official language of the United States. So much of what makes the US a great place is freedom, such as freedom of speech, and that would sound a little awkward if the constitution gave the right of freedom of speech as long as you speak English.

they really don't work. I mean, they can last a while, but unless someone is moving close to the other one, it just cannot work
