Ouch, that sucks... I know how you feel. I landed an amazing trade of a Faerie Gnorbu which was VWN for a VWN MSP Poogle... I painted the Gnorbu, then found out that she traded the pet for a completely different pet... I was sad and never got any offers on the Gnorbu

You can't really buy any RARE items, without having a HIGHER risk. That's why places like Furniture and places that sell HTS items are, in my opinion, better to restock at if you don't want to get frozen, sure... it's HTS, but SOMEONE will want to buy it, if you just advertise, someone will eventually buy it.
Good Places to Restock - Higher Freeze, ETS, Expensive Items
Magic (duh)
Plushie (Though some are HTS)
Books
Food (Spooky too.)
Pharmacy (Lower Profit USUALLY)
Post Office
Good Places to Restock - Lower Freeze, HTS, Various Prices
ALMOST anywhere else.
Of course, that is all my opinion above
