Find a back door into the system, then either disable/uninstall the software. Another idea may be to damage/corrupt a few files to reduce functionality, so to be 'sly' about it.

Its a natural reaction... happened to me the first time i got a 10M plus item. Eventually you just file it away or transfer it to whatever account you keep those kinds of things and go about your day like it never happened.
