MEET THE ENTRANTS:

PRIZES:

$10 NC Card (Thank you, Kordelia!)

Baby Paint Brush (donated by me)

TROPHIES:

 (made by Kordelia)

To you AND @Musician, we won't have a size limit for the photos, since they can be thumbnailed...and as has been pointed out to me, many times, photos must be appreciated in their full form without size reduction in order to appreciate the full impact.

Thank you for letting me know! I agree with your point.

I'll edit the first post so everyone knows.

THERE IS NO SIZE LIMIT NOW, PEOPLE.

AS LONG AS YOU DON'T CRASH MY DYING COMPUTER WITH THE IMAGE ANYTHING GOES.

Great to see this coming back for a second round I have a question on the theme though. Aren't all shots taken by a camera 'Point of View'? So, to enter, I can just take a shot with my camera and do that? Just want some clarification before going out to do so

Thanks for donating prizes again Kordelia and Musician Much appreciated!

Hmm, I guess I want the entries to portray a unique point of view, either using camera technique (e.g. angles) or by showing something that reflects a personal point of view. Do I make sense? xD I don't want to limit the creativity of people too much though, so I decided to leave the theme kind of ambiguous. c:

Welcome to the second Wild Hair Contest, an amazing photography competition started by Kordelia!

RULES:

1)  THIS CONTEST ACTUALLY DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH HAIR.

2)  Submit a PHOTO representing something that has to do with the theme at the top of this post. Only your creativity limits what entries could actually be.

3)  Photos can be either untouched or filtered. THERE IS NO SIZE LIMIT.

Aside from these three "rules", general rules such as NOT including your username in your entry, as well as not doing anything that would subvert anything counted among the overall Neocodex rules (illegal stuff, etc., WILL NOT be allowed and WILL be disqualified), should be followed. Please submit your entries to me via message prior to the due date, and it would be greatly appreciated if you submitted your images using imageshack.us or tinypic.com.

PRIZES:

$10 NC Card (Thank you, Kordelia!)

Baby Paint Brush (donated by me)

If anyone would like to donate a prize, please PM me!

Great entries, everybody!

Thanks for hosting, Liesa.

I've edited the first post to include trophies that I made for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Awh, they're so cute! Great job on them; I love the style.

You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day.

Remember to rep Kordelia for her awesome work, guys.

These are way cuter!

Spoiler

AS SOMEBODY WITH A SEVERE CASE OF ARACHNOPHOBIA I WOULD LIKE TO UNLEASH A TORRENT OF UNSAVOURY WORDS AND GESTURES AT YOU, SOME OF WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT REFERENCE YOUR MOTHER, BUT SINCE I AM A NICE LADY I WILL REFRAIN FROM DOING SO.

Wow, what an amazing surprise to come home to after a tiring day!

Thank you so much for voting, and great job to everyone who participated. Your costumes all rocked. <3

Theme: Famous Quotes

There are quotes that inspire us, quotes that make us cry, and quotes that make us laugh.

I have selected three of my personal favourites for possible inspiration.

NOTE: You do NOT have to use any of these quotes, but whichever one you use, be sure to incorporate the text into your signature.

That being said, of course you are welcome to use the following quotes. (:

"Truth is beautiful, without doubt; but so are lies."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

"It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog."

Mark Twain

"Tears are words that need to be written."

Paulo Coelho

Please read the Rules before sending in your entry.

Complete list of rules found HERE and we encourage the reading of the full rules so as not to be caught out doing something wrong.

images.neopets.com/cp/items/swf/000/000/093/93680_b7f2488a54.swf

Looks like NASCAR racing or something.

Magical Blue Kyrii Plushie: 600-700k on neopets,
4,000,000 on neocodex! (how did that even happen lol)

The Plushie seems to be around 900k at the moment. Updated. (gosh that face is so cute)

Magical Pirate Krawk Plushie: 4.2mil: 2.2mil
Royal Boy Ixi Plushie: 4mil: 1.5mil
Scorchio Auctioneer Plushie: 4mil: 900k
Grey Peophin Plushie: 4mil: 140k
Plushie Ixi Plushie: 3mil: 1.1mil
Scamander Plushie: 2.5mil: 400k

Verified & updated all. Thank you, Rainie!

Ah, darn it, ~150 more posts to go then cX~~

& Plushie MPs (I think you may have missed my previous post about them o: ~ Although these are now 2x updated prices cX !)

Plushie Tonu Morphing Potion: 5.5mil: 1mil
Plushie Pteri Morphing Potion: 4mil: 1.1mil
(Plushie Usul has a falsely inflated TP price & Plushie Scorchio doesn't have a solid TP price atm)

I missed them? Oh, sorry about that then. x3
Prices updated; Plushie Scorchio is 4 mill on auctions with no bid, so the current price seems alright.

Plushie Kougra Morphing Potion is at 2.5-2.8 approximately.

There are two priced at 2.49mil on the TP (along with one 3mil and one 5mil), so the most common price is 2.49mil, which was rounded to 2.5mil.

Seems like 2.5 mill to me since I'm pretty sure another one sold for that price a couple of days ago.
