Search no more. Just be careful with times and/or surpassing common high scores. I have gotten like 10 trophies, including Better Than You, and almost every game avatar this way and haven't been frozen.

As long as it's been over 24 hours, is it safe to turn on the Neopoints generator will I am being reviewed, or is there any way they could find out I'm using it and leave a bigger red flag?

The NP Generator is as safe as using AoB or Abrosia with default settings, that is, really safe. I don't know whether it'll affect your situation for the worse or not, but I'd use it anyways. You have nothing to lose.
Oh, and next time, make sure that you use AoB, especially if avatar games' cheats are available. Only a few of them are not covered in the AoB section of the forum. Try it; 10000% safer.
