entire program won't start

Uninstalled...reinstalled same message.

program tries to get updates from server, and pops up a message to check the log. This is what it says.
I use no proxy and nothing has changed from any setting I've used before. My account works and has no problems on neopets.\

been this way for over 2 weeks. ....help please.
