Oh gosh, I don't have a lot. ; 3;

Oh I believed you haha. I'm sorry you thought that I didn't believe you. I figured it would be easier to understand the ridiculousness if you saw the numbers yourself. I agree. It's fucking ridiculous. It's a stupid reason to distrust someone. But I do understand why people distrust atheism. They've been taught by their parents, their pastors and priests not to trust atheists, hell even our government openly endorses Christianity through our money, our pledge and the various religious things in government buildings, proceedings, etc. Not to mention, the strange myth that Hitler was atheist, etc. Atheism has been tied to communism, socialism and democratic socialism, which the right is super afraid of anyway. It's ignorance and tribalism pretty much.

You're 110% right. Everything that's been taught in our current age reflects some kind of faith and the out-right "wrongness" of no faith at all. As a child, I'd been forced to go to Church and Sunday School several times a month despite my clear disbelief in religion. Though my family is religious, they don't force it down our throats (luckily.) On the other-hand, my babysitters did. Both my brother and I have no faith and were forced to Church and Sunday School by our babysitters because they were religious. I had no problem with it originally because it wasn't all that bad, but eventually they scalded us when we didn't "learn" certain things while there and "didn't believe in the word of God." Religious families are almost forcing their children on their faith and then abandoning these children if they go against it. More and more we see kids coming out to their gender and/or their sexuality to their religious family and being shunned and kicked-out because of it. I hope that in the near future, our new figures can halt this trend. It's horrible for kids to be forced upon this kind of thing and to pit everything against them when they're not to your faith is out-right depressing.

We DO need a president, regardless of gender, who is trustworthy and responsible enough to fulfill the things we need done in this country. Though, we also need a women of power somewhere. If a women (say Hillary) were to come in power, perhaps the issues we deal with in mind of gender and sex equality will become a little bit more tolerable. Hopefully the importance of gender equality and marriage equality will become more prominent this upcoming term.

My first pick is, of course, Bernie. Not sure if he'll win nominee though. Clinton lacks the truthfulness we need in a nominee, but she is far better than Trump. With Trump as president, he'll drive the country to it's end. At least with Hillary, it won't die AS quick.

Thylacine: A new tertiary gene!
This newly discovered marking applies vivid stripes and fades across the back of a dragon. This gene now has the possibility to stock in the treasure marketplace!

Gathering Additions
Dragon clans with a skill of 29 or greater in scavenging now have a chance to harvest these new items!

New Swap Stand Trades
The swapper clan has been busy fishing and trading. There is a chance for new glamortail trades to appear in the Swap Stand!

Crystalline Gala 2016 Skin & Accent Contest
The third annual Crystalline Gala will begin January 24, 2016. To celebrate we are running a skin and accent contest honoring the ice flight. Click here for more information!

Coliseum: Monkey Business:
Golem Workshop continues to fabricate new golem models in its efforts to drive out invading dragons. New challenges bring new rewards. Does your clan have what it takes to claim them? Gale and Umbra wolves are dropping new materials.

Additional Updates:

• Lingering data from NotN was causing the Coliseum to freeze when non-existent NotN opponents were selected. This has been corrected.

Your thoughts? I personally absolutely love this gene and we've been due for a new tertiary which I'm happy for. The next gene is most likely Petals (to add onto Butterfly) as they stated they're going to be releasing a treasure gene in-between a gem gene so they're not back-to-back.

I absolutely love the new familiars as well. The fish are awesome...

So for all of those that don't know and didn't engulf themselves in the shit-posting done by literally everybody, Undel made a really awkward thread with no context at all named "Sunshine!" She began to reserve 3 pages worth of space. Keep in mind, this is posted in the General Discussion forum and not the admin nor announcements forum. Needless to say, the community completely blasted the page with a whopping 300 pages in just hours. Every hour she'd add a new color which was already on the color wheel. (Sunshine, Shadow, Stone, Carribean, etc.)

( Thread in questions )

I believe the original thread was deleted, lost, or she wiped all of the comments.

Eventually she got to the point in which everybody predicted-- new colors! Also, some new and slightly exciting news!

"Thanks for joining us for the fun tonight! I think we've kept the lid on this for long enough...

Our engineering team has been working on new tools to help us generate and implement genes in a much faster and more efficient manner that does not sacrifice the image and color quality we've come to value as part of our site's style. These tools are being developed to make future gene implementation much easier, but also come with the added benefit of allowing us to expand our color wheel without also increasing artist workload exponentially.

We are currently working on converting our existing breed art templates into ones that will be compatible with our new tools. Every time we finish 10, we will be revealing a color. Some will be old, some will be new.

To answer your questions:

• We are intending to only expand the color wheel once, as we would like to minimize the disruption to player's breeding ranges.
• New colors will go between existing colors on the wheel so that they are in places that make sense for their range. We will not reshuffle the wheel, and your ranges will remain close to the same, but expanded.
  • Example: If you had a Rose to Magenta range, you're not suddenly going to have a green in there. It will be more pinks.
• New colors will ONLY be able to be bred, hatched, and scattered for.
  • To remain fair to all of our players, only the original 67 colors will be available during account registration and new dragon creation."

Some of the new colors:

So what's your thoughts? I'm personally really happy that they're making a new way to make genes easier to make a produce. Hopefully we'll see some new genes the near future! I'm also really happy with these colors! So far, my favorite is Antique. They aren't released as of right this second, but they will once all original and new colors have had their bases re-made!

Undel also answered someone's question by saying that some of the older dragon's color bases are outdated and need to be re-issued so some of the colors on some dragons may have their accent colors tinkered a bit. I can't find this post to source, sorry!

Thank you to all that participated and voted. Also, congratulations to the winners! Please PM the person holding the prize you'd like. Taking a prize is according to your place in the contest, so 1st picks first, 2nd picks second, etc. Please announce which prize you'd like so there isn't any confusion!
