What do you do for a living?

Hey, thought it might be pretty cool for everyone it write a little about what they do for work? I realize there are some people still here at school, studying, but they could ask people about specific jobs etc. I guess it makes sense for me to start.

I am in the Royal Australian Navy. Been serving for five and a bit years now. Overall it's a really good job. The money is good for what i do, and the benefits are awesome. I am an Electronic Technician, which means my main role is to maintain and set up the combat system, radars and sonar. Its a real interesting job and get to work with some pretty cool stuff.

It can get a little boring out at sea, with no internet, long hours and cramped living spaces, but you get paid more when posted to a sea-going ship. A lot of people seem to think our wage is tax free, it's not, i pay tax like everyone else. The exception is if you are in an active war zone, you do not pay tax and get "danger money. One of the best perks is Rental Allowance. They subsidize my rent, so i can afford to live in a brand new apartment with views of the Opera House and Sydney Harbor Bridge.

Well i guess if anyone wants to know more they can ask.

Hi there! Don't really know where to start. I completely forgot about neopets for years, i remember playing a long LONG time ago. Recently got very bored after doing my back at work, at thought, why the hell not. A few of my old accounts still worked, so i started playing again. Quickly came accross neocodex, and low and behold, i was a member from way back when. I must of joined just as i quit playing as i had no activity on my account at all.

Been lurking for a few weeks now, just trying to get my head around a few things, but I thought i waas time I did something else rather than just watch from a distance.

My name is Pete by the way, 22 year old from Sydney, Australia. I have started ABing a fair bit, and want ing to become part of this community alot more. Time i gave something back i guess.

Well i look forward to being more active, and speak to you all soon i guess.
