It's been a while!Welcome back, haven't seen you around for a long time.
Logged into Neopets a while back to do nothing more than send a Neomail to a friend of mine I couldn't contact any other way and somehow managed to get addicted again. Since then I've made a topic on another forum I frequent and got a few hundred members there into the game as well. Dunno what the hell I've started!
In Topic: Is there still a maximum number of on-hand neopoints?

Yeah, it's definitely possible to go into the negatives. Not too sure why, but hey.
As I said, my only experience with amounts of NP that high was years and years ago when I found an exploit that allowed generation of any amount of NP at the click of a button, and I noticed above a certain amount (somewhere between 40 and 55 million) it simply reset to 0.
I very vaguely remember people on BD chat causing quite a stir when somebody ran into that cap legitimately but beyond that I'm not really sure.
Only reason this was on my mind was because I was trying to track down an item worth ~50m (which I'm never going to find!
) and while I would have just taken it out of the bank in smaller increments due to the imposed auction maximums either way, curiosity got the best of me.
