$1000 is a few weeks in the Caribbean or round-trip airfare to Accra. I could probably make a modest stain glass studio in my attic for that much, or turn all the walls in my house into magnetic chalkboards and have enough left over to buy some nice chalk.

$1000 is huge.

In Topic: How big is your social circle?

I leave behind a social circle and one or two good friends every time I move, which I've done often in the last 4-5 years.
The result is that I have a huge network of friends who I'd have to contact I showed up in their city for a weekend and a dozen really close friends that scattered around America and Europe.

Why haven't you guys (Kiwi and Woug) met up yet?
