Getting offered a choice of Sony Xperia Z tablet or Nexus 10 for my bday :o Which to pick?

I love Sony, don't get me wrong but they just don't play the phone/tablet game well. Had a lot of problems with Xperia and would never go back.

That sounds foreboding... Is there a tablet that you particularly recommend? Excluding i-anythings.
