Technically, my last purchase was pepsi and candy because I decided today was a "let's give the one finger salute to my diet" day. But my last serious purchase was a pair of KRK 6400 mixing headphones...definitely gonna get a lot of use from those once my classes start in a month!

I'm on the last few chapters of The Hydrogen Sonata by Ian Banks. It's definitely a more challenging read than other sci-fi space opera type books I've read due to some of the scientific concepts in it, but I highly recommend it to anyone into this genre! And being a cellist, it was definitely fun trying to picture a humanoid with 4 arms playing a challenging atonal piece on a giant string instrument with a lot of strings...especially since the book says the user sits inside the instrument while playing it!

Jumpstart just totally sucks...they are seriuosly killing my favorite site! I never thought in a million years neopets would start to look like it's going down the road of getting just as fucked up as gaia is, but SURPRISE!

When I saw that post, I just laughed at the fact that this was pretty much jumpstart's way of giving us the one finger salute rather than admit it was a database breach. I just hate how they didn't do the server rollback or give the victims all their items/np back, because a lot of people are probably going to quit neo over not getting their stuff back...way to kill the site jumpstart!

I got to level 50 of Habi and then quit altogether. It was useless to me so I won't miss it.

 

I couldn't STAND the lag!

Yeah, the lag was pretty bad...but getting to earn 25-40k a day for doing practically nothing was pretty awesome.

Does anyone know if we can still get that avatar after the site is fixed for everyone? I couldn't log on and hope I don't miss the avatar since I missed it the first time it was released...
