It's a close race between luxury and speed. I don't see the point in having a REALLY fast car because the fastest you can go (here anyway) is like 100km/h...However, there are a lot of really nice fast sports cars.
My uncle has a 1981 Porsche 928. It's a fantastic car. Way beyond it's time. Power steering, power windows, power locks, sun roof, V8 engine with 302 horse power. Amazing!

In Topic: Waddu wanna smoke?

Personally, I don't want to smoke either because I don't want to smoke anything at all. Nor do I wish to do drugs. However, I think that tobacco should be illegal just like pot. Cigarettes are just as addictive and dangerous to your health as pot if not more so. There are more hazardous chemicals in a single cigarette then the cleaning supplies in your house.

It's advertising the new White PSP...
It's not racist.
Don't be so over-sensitive about such irrelevancies.
It's people like you that would take the munchkins out of The Wizard of Oz, saying they were being exploited.
Yes I agree. It's just an advertisment of a white PSP. It's hardly anything to get worked up over. Perhaps instead of being so "over-sensitive" about a bilboard...Perhaps we should be more focused on protecting the earth, world peace, and stoping human exploitation for low income in third world countries...I don't know...Those are just a few that I came up with on the spot. Wouldn't you agree though?

I think enforcing more exercise is more beneficial than restricting someone's diet to low-calories foods. I avoid foods that are obviously bad for me, but I don't limit what I eat too much because I exercise regularly and burn off the excess calories anyway.
All people should be given a choice what to eat. The only exception is the people who eat uncontrollably and are quite overweight and need help getting rid of their bad eating habits. For them, staying at their current situation can kill them.
Very nicely put. I strongly agree with your arguement in this matter.
In Topic: The Great Debate: Should being stupid be illegal?
19 July 2006 - 06:44 PM
I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you. You believe that stupidity should be illegal. As punishment for this you also think that they should be fines and then jail time.
What about those who are genetically (by which they have NO choice to be smart at all) intellectualy disabled? It seems unfair that they should be fined and have to serve jail time when it wasn't their choice at all to be intellectualy disabled.
Also, even if I did agree with you, the jail time wouldn't be an option because if that was the case because there would not be enough room in cells to hold stupid people.
Also, you said that society would not fail as much but in actual fact it would even more so because for starters, citizens would have to pay higher taxes to ensure that police are doing their job catching and arresting all the stupid people. And, while police are off looking for stupid people, they are going to put real crime on the back burner which could wind up in many people being hurt in the long run.
So once again, no stupidity shouldn't be illegal UNLESS it involves putting someone else in harms way...Then it should be illegal.
