Spider

There's a spider in my room that has dropped seemingly from the ceiling three times now. How do I know? It sings from side to side right in front of my face, then dissapears because I can't see where it's going. It's kind of big. It's probably two inches long. It looks brown and has really long legs, but it's not a daddy long-legs. It's too thick. Hmm . . . I wonder what it is, and I hope I don't find out the hard way.
