I'm back

14 June 2007 - 07:28 AM

I'm so sorry I haven't been here in a long time. I was banned from the computer for a while by my parents for reasons unknown, but now it's finally summer and I can come back. I need to get back in the swing of things, but I wanted to say hi.

OS X86

20 December 2006 - 06:02 PM

Hey Guys,
I recently installed Mac OS X Tiger on my Dell Optiplex, after about a day of downloading and two days of learning about OS X 86. I think it's extremely cool to be running Mac OS on a non-apple computer (but I think weird things are cool sometimes tongue.gif). I was curious if anyone else has this running and how well it works for them (I can't seem to get iTunes 7 to work, can you guys), and I also have some screenshots biggrin.gif

Media Center Computer without MCE

15 November 2006 - 01:40 PM

I have a computer which I'd like to set up as a TV Recorder/Streamer (if I can get a card with hardware MPEG2 rendering/decoding whatever). I recently upgraded the hard disk, and it happened to have a TV Tuner card in it (trying to remember when I got it, hehe). Anyway, to the purpose of the post. Is there any free software (preferably free as in software, not beer, I like looking at the source, etc.), that will act as a Windows Media Center Editon substitute? I'd prefer not to purchase MCE, so I'm just wondering.

Thanks to anyone who knows!

Hello!

15 November 2006 - 12:30 PM

Hello! I am new to this site, however not Neopets and cheating. I was IP banned in the beginning of 2005, but apparently it ended, as I was able to get on today. I am fluent in C++, Visual Basic, Visual Basic .NET, Javascript, PHP, HTML, and SCAR. I was born in the year 1995, and have been programming since I was nine. I type about ninety words a minute. I hope to become an active member of this community!

Sincerely,
