We usually agree that AoB is a bit safer than SSing, because with AoB you're actually playing the game and can stop yourself if you notice an impossible score, and you can wait a bit before hitting "send score" to lengthen the time for the score you got. 

With SSing, you have three ways to make mistakes, game ID, time, and score. Although you can mess up times and scores with AoB as well.

Sometimes it's hard to catch errors because it may be something very simple, like accidentally forgetting the SS is in seconds and putting in a minutes time instead. Such as putting in 10, which you meant 10 minutes, when that really would have been 600 seconds. 

Either one carries risks with it.
