For the last month I have been training my new pet from scratch. Till I just saw the secret training school costs and it looks like I would save a whole lot of money AND time by raising my pet to 250. Then training the rest of my stats using the secret training school. Is this the best way to go when training a pet?

training school the best way already. if u have nc u can get the faerie quest fortune cookie or smt. if u are np rich neggs i guess. to me the best way is still training school

school is also the cheapest. there is a trade off here

fast training speed = cost more

low cost = slow training speed

there is no other way imo

or unless u wanna go with the lab which is then just gambling . usually u will get low level high hp pets at the end of the day

How many levels your pet has now? Once my pet hit 150 levels I just kep training levels until I reached 250 level points. That is probably the fastest & cheapest way (red codestones are cheap nowadays, ~6k per codestone). There is a long gap between 150 and 250 levels, but there are multiple ways to speed up your progress. They all cost a little bit extra, but they are worth it if you can afford them.

1) Kitchen Quest

You get (on average) 4 stat points per 10 quests. I usually spend around 70k in total (per day), but if you can wait and skip the most expensive quests you can usually get the job done at around 50k (per day). That is around 12-17k per stat which is not oo bad in my opinion! Doing these quests you gain other stats and can speed up your level training ;) Remember this is only useful when you have ONE pet. Stats are awarded randomly.

2) Scratchards

Terror Trove cards costs around 1k, so 5k a day is not a big deal, but you have a change of winning a level! I usually get level once per 20-25 cards. And once again, this is only worth it if you have only ONE pet. There is another card for Haunted Woods, but don't use it. It costs 8k and doesn't award levels more ofthen that the cheaper alternative does. Not worth it.

3) Avoid labray if you can

Lab Ray Scientists is known for hating levels =/ You'll lose more levels than you gain on a long range, so if you want to achieve 250 levels as fast as you can - avoid labray.

4) Faerie & Training cookies

If you have access to NC and you are ready to spend real money I'd suggest you to take a look at Faerie Quest Cookies and Training Cookies. They can help you in your mission, but often just a little bit. If you are active trader of NC items then this is worth it! I have used 15 faerie cookies so far and I've got 2 FFQs along with plenty of stats.

Don't use any level increasers! They are NOT worth it.

I personally go with lab + kitchen quest + training school (+ scratch cards).

I started training when my pet already had somewhat high str and hp, so I just went for level 250 straight away. SCs and Kitchen Quest are more thane enough to balance out the lab level-wise and the extra stats are always worth it, imo (for Kitchen Quest as long as you only accept sane-priced ones - my personal border is around 15k/quest).

For negging and stat potions: stay away from them unless you really want stats fast and have loads of NP to spare - else they're not worth it at all unless the cost already outweights your training school cost (which shouldn't be the case until level 300+).

Thank you. Sadly my pet is oly level 41 so I have a long way to go but I am just going for a straight path to 250. I am using the fortune cookies wit the NC but Ty for mentioning them. I do plan on using the lab ray because it has helped me with a lot of health. I might stop though because I am very high in health but low in level. I also don't plan on using the level increases. I do have plenty of NP but I am saving that for the load of training I have coming up.

Thank you for your feedback. I guess I was right about straight shooting it to 250. I now am buying terror trove scratchcads for everyday use to help gain levels. As for the kitchen quests though I don't like them because 1 out of 3 quests are like 100k.

This is not true. Of course you can have bad luck and get asked to fetch 25k items a few times in a row. Most quest items don't amount to 15k in total and I get to finish 10 quests almost every day. The real downside is that you can't have more than one pet..

I am using the Price Checker http://userscripts.o...pts/show/112692 script to automatically Shop Wizard for the items. This saves a LOT of time and you can decide after looking at the prices if you want to take the quest or not. Usually, the more expensive food items (>10k) are 1-2k lower in reality than what the ItemDB reports.

If you're interested in some other ways of increasing the stats then you should check out the Stat Increaser Tests and Results.

i myself am just shy the 250 mark.

trying to push to it with the daily training, and a couple cool neggs helped.

but once i get 250level the everything else can be caught back up to 500

i relalized i was waisting money once it was 6 codestones per training.

and as you also stated time.

cant wait for it to be 4 hours again.

Could you explain how to use this script? (I'm a noob)

You install Greasemonkey in your browser (it's an addon), then you go on the link stated above and click on "Install". The script should be active after installing and you just have to visit your inventory/kitchen quest/etc. page and a settings dialog will pop up. There's a ton of settings you can change but my advise would be is to deselect everything from "autopricing" because then a dialog will pop up every time when you visit the page. Little colored "$" igns should appear near items in all pages where this script is active.

Try remembering the keyboard shortcuts for how to open the settings, pricing and buying, I can't tell you the default ones because I changed them. When I do a kitchen quest, I use "Shift + a" for pricing and wait until it priced everything (you'll see blinking "$" so just wait until they stopped blinking). If the total is acceptable for me I type "Shift + o" to buy them.
