Unfortunately many dropped off after awhile, 12 weeks is quite a long time, and the passing along the competition to myself who got inundated with work didn't help.

I've been doing a lot of excercise, so that's my advice for everyone trying to lose weight. As for dieting, I went pretty aggressive at the beginning but I couldn't keep it up so I bounced back a few times.

For me the requirements for gaining the partcipant award is to send in weight/measurements for 4 weeks not including Week 0 which was just the starting weight.

@Shannon It doesn't bother me if your requirements were different and you were running the comp too so if a mod, @Swarley or @Emily (you're both on says the main page), awards it to you then it's fine with me that you're given the participant award. Other participants will not be given such leeway.

@Drakonid if you can post which prize you're choosing and then PM the corresponding person please.

Ok. this took me a while to get back to, but...

 

Massive congrats @Drakonid and @hariolari ! Not just for the weight loss (impressive as it was, but also for being disciplined enough...a victory in itself)
