They were doing a good job with the plot in terms of updating it near the beginning of the plot, but I think they forgot about it and they are just making NC items again.

We were getting an update after 2-4 days or so, which was great! It is starting to really drag out, though.

I hate the mixture of luck that's involved in their 'puzzles'.
For example, that achievement in Fort Nox's castle regarding the "hidden treasure" or whatever?
Like, I got it by sheer and complete luck but I know a few people that literally spent days wandering around the castle

I'm still wandering that fucking castle trying to get that achievement. I've been trying at it at least once a day since the chapter was released. It's fucking ridiculous.

I'm hoping for a twist or something. And I just read up on the comic on LDP and it sucked even more...so TNT has made some improvements

What's with the lack of updates..? You would think that they would plan most of this stuff ahead of time. TBH, I'd rather wait (even) longer between plots and have them release regular updates, then have them start something off and put it on the back-burner.

thats why they are taking so long now

Maybe most of the designers are just focusing on churning out NC Mall items instead of the comics and plot stuffs :|

....Or focusing on the areas of the site that they obviously have more interest in and will likely make them more money, like the NC Mall.

They release so many items to the NC mall, and only release species wearables on their days, and maybe 2 items every two weeks

I'm agreeing with you xD I'm saying they release like 50 items per month for the NC mall, and only like... 8 for the regular stuff. And most of it is junk

Money is up there on the priority, but I still wish they would have just prepared the stupid plot ahead of time before torturing us all.
