The waiting is less about arbitrarily waiting and more about having a believable time to be paired off with your score. It's a thousand times safer to be slower than send a score with an impossible time. For example Snowmuncher: you can rapid spam the spacebar to clear all the rounds quickly, but you have to wait however enough time to make it seem like you played legit.

Parking lots owned by companies can't really give me tickets I have to pay. Whenever I see an Impark I go 'woo free parking'. For neopets, abrosia is winning by a wide margin.
