My uterus decided to let me know how she really feels
Finally around 12 the pain starts getting unbearable to the point where I can't even stand up straight. I tell my co-workers Jordan and Ganoush that I'm leaving early because I'm in pain and I'm going straight to the dr. Jordan keeps trying to convince me to stay til closing because they'll have to close by themselves and it will take a long time. I tell Jordan to go fuck himself with a blender. Ganoush is cool about the whole thing and tells me to be careful. So I go to Madison and tell him I'm in pain and I need to leave. He tells me to wait til 12:30 then send Jordan to get a register since I'm the only person with a register in the drawer. Then right before I'm done with my bag and everything Madison says "Are you sure you can't stay and help clean?" I tell him "Madison, I'm in a lot of pain right now. I could stay to clean but that won't guarantee that I'll actually do anything. I would most likely just stand there and bitch about how much pain I'm in. It's better for me to just leave now." And I leave.
This is where the fun begins!
I get to Urgent Care around 1pm. It takes them an hour of paperwork and processing then this bitch tells me that I haven't met my deductible and I have to pay them $105. I tell her that's not right, I don't have a deductible I have an account with over $1000 in it for them to take the money out of. She's arguing with me over MY INSURANCE PLAN. Finally I tell her to call the insurance company. So it takes her another hour to get it straightened out and I see the dr finally around 3:30. I get weighed in, tell the dr what's wrong with me. He decides he has to do a pelvic exam. Those things suck.
First he feels my lower abdomen to find out exactly where it's sore. Then he sticks a plastic speculum into my vagina and checks out what's going on down there and takes a cotton swab sample. After that's done he has to reach his fingers into my vagina and physically move my cervix around and he asks if it hurts. Then he feels my ovaries and it didn't hurt until he got to the left one. That hurt like a bitch. So he leaves and comes back and says he's not sure what's going on. It could be inflammation from my irregular periods, it could be a tubal pregnancy but he's 99% sure it's not because the pregnancy test came back negative, it could be a cyst, it could be a tumor. The only way to know for sure is to do a sonogram. So he sends me to the ER for a sonogram. My aunt had to leave for work so I take a cab over to the ER. I'm totally freaking out at this point but I have a nice talk with my super middle eastern cab driver and it calms me down a bit.
So I get to the ER around 4pm and I wait until 5pm before they call my name. I go back there and they ask me some more questions, take my blood pressure and temperature. Then they sent me to the inside waiting room. I wait some more. Then they take 4 tubes of blood to check my blood and do a blood pregnancy test. Definitely not pregnant (thank god) so they send me to the waiting room to wait for the sonogram. I'm sitting there for 3 hours guys waiting for this damn sonogram. I don't get seen til 8:30. The sonogram technician is this really nice lady who's hella pregnant. She does the over the top sonogram and doesn't see anything so she tells me I need a transvaginal ultrasound so she can get a better look. Yes, it's as bad as it sounds. Same thing happens that happens at the drs, when she's looking around the right side we're cool but once she wanders over to my left it starts hurting like crazy. They wheel me back to the waiting room, then they wheel me over to another room at the ER and I talk to the dr. At this point it's like 9:30 pm and I've been trying to find out what's wrong with me for 8 and a half hours. The Dr tells me the sonogram didn't show anything so the most likely thing is that the fact that I had 2 periods in one month and I'm anemic caused the left side of my uterus to become inflamed. All I can do is wait for the pain to subside. They said if its still hurting by Monday to go see my dr and they prescribed me some painkillers.
I was so pissed off I went to Del Taco and cried into my macho burrito. It's Day 2 and the pain is still bugging me but its not as bad as it was yesterday. I'm hoping it gets better. I wish I could just take it out and throw it away tbh.

Gosh Damn.
Have you considered writing novels? I feel like you can write the next literary fascination with all the experience you have.
