So here is my boring plain text blog...
1. You remember watching Doug, Ren & Stimpy, Pinky and the Brain, and Two Stupid Dogs.
2. AAAAAAAH real monsters.
3. You remember TGIF on ABC. Step by Step, Family Matters, Dinosaurs, and Boy Meets World.
4. You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons.
5. You remember reading "Goosebumps"
6. You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school.
7. You remember the craze, then the banning of slap bracelets and slam books.
8. You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record "Your FAVORITE song of ALL time"
9. Captain Planet. He's a Hero.
10. You knew that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the green Ranger were meant to be together.
11. You remember when super nintendo's and Sega Genisis became popular.
12. You always wanted to send in a tape to America's Funniest Home Videos... but never taped anything funny.
13. You remember watching home alone 1, 2 , and 3........and tried to pull the pranks on "intruders"
14. You remember watching The Magic School Bus, Wishbone, and Reading Rainbow on PBS.
15. U remember eating Warheads.(those sour candys)
16. U remember Ring Pops.
17. if you memeber when every thing was "da BOMB"
18. You remember boom boxes vs. cd players
19. Writing M.A.S.H. notes. (and the twenty different versions of that)
20. Making those little paper fortune cookie things.. and then predicting your life with them.
21. You played and/or collected "Pogs"
22. You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet or Nano and brought it everywhere
23. ...Furbies.
24. You haven't always had a computer, and it was cool to have the internet.
25. And Windows 95 was the best.
26. You watched the original cartoons of Rugrats, Power Rangers,and Ninja Turtles.
27. You had a favorite New Kid on the block, and you knew all of there names
28. Michael Jordan was a king.
29. You remember when the new Beanie Babies and talking Elmo were always sold out.
30. You collected those Beanie Babies.
31. Lambchop's song never ended.
32. You collected all the Troll dolls wiht the bright hair
33. You owned a portable tape player.
34. If you even know what an original walkman is.
35. You remember wanting to sit on the orange Nickelodeon couch.
36. You've gotten creeped out by "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"
37. You know the Macarena by heart.
38. "Talk to the hand" ... enough said
39. You always said, "Then why don't you marry it!"
40. You went to McD's to play in the playplace.
41. You remember playing on merry go rounds...at the play ground.
When we were younger:
1. Before the MySpace frenzy...
2. Before the Internet & text messaging...
3. Before Sidekicks & iPods...
4. Before PlayStation2 or X-BOX...
5. Before Sponge Bob
6. When light up sneakers were cool.
7. When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs.
8. When gas was $0.95 a gallon & Caller ID was a new thing.
9. When we recorded stuff on VCRs .
10. When we called the radio station to request songs to hear off our walkmans.
11. When 2Pac and Biggie where alive.
12. When it was all about Nintendo64.
I will probably end up doing a 'Fad's of the 90's that i still love' blog next... i will try and make that one interesting.
