Hey everyone. smile.gif

Well the staff has been talking lately and we’re thinking of adding a new member rank to the NeoCodex hierarchy (the ranks you automatically get anyway). Something to add with what we currently have:

Neocodex Member at 0 posts --> Advanced Member at 500 posts

We thought the best way of doing this would be a public survey. So here are the options you all have to vote for (new member ranks in bold):

Option 1: Current System: Member level at 0 posts, Advanced Member at 500 posts
Option 2: New System: Member level at 0 posts, Intermediate Member at 200 posts, Advanced Member at 500 posts
Option 3: New System: Member level at 0 posts, Intermediate Member at 200 posts, Advanced at 500 posts, -something- Member at 1000 posts
Option 4: New System: Member level at 0 posts, Advanced Member at 500 posts, -something- Member at 1000 posts

Please vote in the poll above and post any suggestions, comments, agreements, disagreements, etc. below. The system with the most votes will be put into (or remain in) effect. smile.gif As you can see, we’ve yet to come up with a name for the possible member rank at 1000 posts so if any of you have good ideas for names, post them!

Thank you and remember: VOTE! tongue.gif

Your vote doesn't count because we're assholes.

Perhaps...

How about "Lackadaisical Contributors"?
I don't technically know what lackadaisical means, or if I even spelled it right, but it's a cool word. Like serendipity.

Unless the Firefox spell check decided to slack off, you spelled it correctly. tongue.gif

Hehe, I love ranks wink.gif Actually, I just hate the words "Advanced Member" and that tag that accompanies it. So I had to choose something new for 1k. tongue.gif

Do Intermediate Members get any more Program benefits? Like more than a plain member but less than an advanced member? :\ I'm holding out hope....

I like it how it is but maybe an intermediate would be okay, if there's a point to adding 'em. Like earlier stated. Programs for people at intermediate that aren't in the member level or what?

I picked option 3 because everyone gets something. I assume Intermediate and 1000+ posts will be something members will be seen as a rank members can achieve. This can also possibly encourage new members to post more bringing more posts to the forum. biggrin.gif

Other then that, a new change would be useless. xD A change right now is useless, but if Neocodex wants it, option 3 would be best because it gives something to everyone, including me. tongue.gif

I also wish they'd change the tag for Advanced Member, as well as the name. Name doesn't seem to fit and tag is horrible. tongue.gif
