News update: I got kicked out of my mom's place for sticking up for my sister and her girlfriend, so I'm going to be moving in with them tomorrow. They don't have internet, so until they do, you probably won't hear from me for a while. Totally worth it though. Peace out homies!

I've had a problem with chewing my nails for a long time, so I finally decided to paint my nails in an attempt to correct the behavior. I have to say, I did not realize how fucked up my nails were. Now that they stand out against the skin, it's pretty bad. :/

I think I remember one of the things that I tried having a spicy taste. It made me gag, and possibly even throw up, but I still bite my nails.

The regular polish is doing the job fine. I mostly do it without realizing. For some reason, the color makes me notice it, and I stop myself.
It's definitely not infected or anything. I made sure before I put the polish on it.
Other than that, the regular taste of the nail polish is enough to deter me from even putting my fingers near my mouth. Spicy nail varnish would probably only ensure that I kept chomping on my nails since I love spicy foods. XD

Was just playing League, I got stuck playing support, so I chose the character I usually play. The guy I was supporting complained the entire time, and said I was garbage support early on, and swapped me for mid. He had 4 kills at level 5. I had 4 assists. -_-

My first article got posted last night after my editor was a huge dick to me. My article got 13 comments and tons of praise from the other writers. My editor put up an article and got no comments. I think I win.

Woo! Finally got my blank DVDs in, and installed Free McBoot on my PS2. Now I'm just burning a few games and playing all my old favorites! :D

Verdict on the mod: The cutscenes in FFX occasionally run a bit choppy, and load times are about 3 seconds longer in most areas than using an original disc, but the game is definitely playable, as are all others I've tested so far EXCEPT Dragon Quest 8. For some reason, that one hangs before starting the game. Disappointing, but nothing I can't fix by picking up a real copy of the game.

My mom sent me around all day to do random chores for her. I did every single one without a single complaint. I just asked her, "Hey, you wanna split a pizza? I'll pay for it, all you have to do is drive us out there to pick it up." She woudn't do it, even after she was complaining all day that we have no food.

I just got some excellent news. Early this month, i applied to write for a Magic: The Gathering website. I figured I'd be writing for the pride of seeing my work featured. I heard back today that they're hiring me, and they want two articles a week, each of which I'll make $25 for. I'll be earning extra, disposable income doing something I love. Finally, the world does something good for me. <3

Got a copy of 007: Agent under fire for my ps2 off ebay. (It's necessary for the mod I'm doing.) It was listed as being in "Acceptable condition". It looks like someone used it as a frisbee and then used it to scratch their ass. How is that acceptable?!

I have ordered everything I need to mod my PS2. By this time on Tuesday, I should be playing a burned copy of either Final Fantasy X, Dragonquest 8, or Kingdom Hearts.

Some of my favorite games for the console. I've ordered a stack of 100 Verbatim discs, so I should have approximately 30 games by the end of the week. (Mostly stuff I used to own and love, like MGS2 and 3)

I would run a PS2 emulator, but I tried running Dragon Quest 8 on my PC, and I was only getting about 20FPS in the overworld, and 35 in battles. My PC is old and slow.

Just got back from Christmas with my mom's side of the family. I got three gifts, all of which were candy. One was from my sisters, another from my cousin's girlfriend who I've met twice before tonight. Literally every other person under 30 who was there tonight got all of these, plus four more gifts. I did get one other thing though. I spent all night listening to my drunk uncles giving me life advice such as, "Stop being such a douchebag and get a job." (Like I haven't been trying. -_-)
