That is pretty cool. My family had a grain farm for the longest time, but they sold it about 10 years ago. It was also in the middle of nowhere, just like many of them.

Yikes. I am sorry to hear that. I hope you have a good support network, and aren't shy of utilizing everyone around you. Do you mind sharing what your friend ODed on? There is a doc in my town who just got busted for being a partner in an opiate drug ring, and some of his patients died of OD and now lots of people are committing suicide because they can't get their fix. =/

@WarezHaxor that is actually double the recommended intake of water for a day. You'll just pee the excess out but there's not need say i 'should' be drinking a full gallon at all.

Idk that's just what all the docs around where I'm at say. A gallon a day for a moderately active individual. A liter of water is actually nothing at all...that's like 3 8 oz glasses of water.

I just looked up the US recommendations actually...8 x 8 oz glasses, which is indeed 2 liters so you are getting the minimum intake recommended...at least in the states.

@Coops this girl sends me a snap of a very large oversized nose ring (said girl herself has a nose piercing). She is making fun of/mocking it. I point out to her that it's cultural for MANY South Asians and western culture has adopted the nose piercing. She starts back tracking and then relates it completely to Islam saying she doesn't know anything about Islamic culture *_* ugh and doesn't even know what Sikh or Hindu religions are. Also LOVES yoga so she says. ~_~
